Philanthropy has always been an important part of our family business story.

Our late founder Hugh Green and his wife Moira have over many years provided generous support to numerous charitable causes in the areas of Medical Research and Innovation, Poverty Relief and Education, Community Development, Quality of Life and Emergency Response.

Their philanthropic activities began in the 1960’s, driven by Hugh’s experiences of poverty during his childhood which lead them to formalise their charitable giving by establishing in 1998 the Hugh Green Foundation (formerly the Hugh Green Charitable Trust).

The Hugh Green Foundation continues Hugh and Moira’s philanthropic activities with the support of the Hugh Green Group businesses and their family who all share their ideals and beliefs in the world of philanthropy.
